Continue ShoppingLocated between trail towns, the Trail offers 12 purpose-built campsites, spaced 40-50 km apart, each equipped with essential facilities:
a sleeping shelter, pit toilet (BYO toilet paper), 2-3 picnic tables, 2 rainwater tanks, tent sites, and a bike shelter.
Fire pits are not provided; riders are asked to use fuel stoves to minimise environmental impact and reduce wildfire risk.
Set in peaceful, scenic spots, these campsites are ideal for resting, recharging, and immersing yourself in nature. Please note there is no power supply for e-bikes, and during summer, it’s recommended to carry extra water due to low tank reserves. Help maintain these spaces by cleaning up, removing rubbish, and registering your ride in the Trail Logbooks. Your comments are always welcome and appreciated!
The Munda Biddi Trail campsites are free to use and cannot be booked. However, as a courtesy to other users, all groups of 8 or more need to notify the Foundation by completing the Group Notification form and lodging it with Parks and Wildlife at least 4 weeks prior. The maximum number of people in one group, including leaders, is 17. Groups are asked not to set up in the huts, until after 6pm.
Alternatively groups riding on the trail - can visit other DBCA camp grounds. These are also marked on the trail maps.
See the table below for all current planned group trips on the trail to avoid lining up your visit with a busy hut!
