Volunteer Trail Crews in Action

Ride. Connect. Care

What is a Trail Crew?

There’s nothing quite like being part of a Munda Biddi Trail Crew. Join a passionate community of volunteers, learn practical trail maintenance skills, and play a hands-on role in caring for one of the world’s great off-road cycling trails. Whether you join us for a day or spend the whole weekend on the trail, your contribution helps keep the Munda Biddi open, safe and enjoyable for thousands of riders each year.

No prior experience is necessary—just bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to get your hands dirty. Come for the trail work, stay for the camaraderie, and head home knowing you’ve left the track better for future generations.

What you’ll be doing

Working alongside Foundation staff and regional Area Leaders, you'll team up to tackle vital priority projects:

  • Vegetation Clearing: Keeping the corridor safe, clear, and rideable.

  • Infrastructure Repairs: Improving huts, campsites, and facilities along the route.

  • Trail Signage: Ensuring clear navigation across stunning forest settings.

  • Crew Catering: Helping prepare and serve the hearty, shared meals that keep our volunteers fueled and energised.

Fueled by the "Biddi Pod"

Volunteers are fully supported by our new, custom-equipped Biddi Pod Trailer. We provide all the specialised tools, safety gear, and practical training you need to work safely and make a tangible impact.

More than Trail Work

Trail Crews are as much about the social experience as they are about trail care. You will enjoy great company, good food, and great stays in the forest sharing stories around the campfire. It’s the perfect opportunity to give back to the trail you love.
