Trail diversions are common and it is important that all users of the Munda Biddi Trail check both the Parks and Wildlife Service - Park Alerts System for the latest information about changes to the Trail, where you can download the maps below.
Trail diversions are also shown on the Munda Biddi Trail Guide App. The map on the app shows the location of each diversion.
Current Diversions in Place
For all of the diversions below, the original route will remain closed until declared safe. For your safety stay on the marked diversion, adhere to and follow all signage and instructions from Parks and Wildlife and other emergency staff. Riders should be aware of operational vehicles and other traffic in these areas.
Due to newly enforced safety buffers around the Jarrahdale Shooters Range, the marked section of single track has been closed and realigned to ensure everyone’s ongoing safety. Please follow the replacement markers in line with the designated closure. DBCA will continue to refine the new alignment to improve trail connectivity.
The Munda Biddi Trail has been permanently realigned for 10.3km just east of Sappers Bridge to Valley of the Giants Road (west). The newly constructed singletrack replaces sections of the trail that previously used Brainy Cutt Off Road and Boxall Twin Creek Rd.
The Munda Biddi Trail is closed for 1km due to maintenance works. A 1.5km diversion is in place.
The Munda Biddi Trail has been permanently realigned for 3.2km, utilising the new extension of the WOW (Wilderness Ocean Walk) Trail.
The Munda Biddi Trail has been permanently realigned for 1.5km due to a new road interchange at Princess Royal Drive and Frenchman Bay Road.
The trail uses the path along the new Frenchman Bay Road alignment and bridge over the railway line.
The Munda Biddi Trail has been permanently realigned for 3.3km.
The realignment takes the trail off Mornington Road and uses a track parallel to the road.
The Munda Biddi Trail has been permanently realigned for 2.1km along Logue Brook Road.
